So I've decided that in order for me to be able to post more than say every 6 months or so, I should simplify my blogging to a few sentences. This is my new experiment and we'll see how it goes. So here's today's blurb:
Exhausted from the holidays.
Can't believe the baby is a year old.
Saw "Twilight," first movie we've seen since the summer (we're such losers!) It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
Looking forward to putting up the Christmas tree and baking.
Dyed my hair red and insanely loving it...blond is gone for now.
Reading a trashy Nora Roberts book.
Listening to Christmas music non-stop.
Rediscovering how much I love the music of Laure Nyro
Hate the way my body looks.
Need to be creative again...must knit, crochet, sew or bead something soon!!

I've abandoned my blog!!!!!!
Okay so I've been a little busy with the baby and everything. So I'll recap in 100 words or less:
Had the baby via c-section 11/28/07...it was scheduled due to his size (10lbs, 2oz) but I went into actual labor the night before. Baby Jason is now almost 7 months old and is the coolest baby on the planet...he's now 25lbs, 28 inches, 6 teeth, talking up a storm and just starting to sleep through the night. My husband and I have gotten used to the impact of babyhood: less sleep, smelly baby poop, projectile vomiting, emergency room visits (only 1 for a fever), footy pajamas, teething, and the absolute awesomeness of baby laughs, baby sneezes and hearing him say Mamamamamam and Dadadadadadada.
So now that it' summer I will have a little bit more time to breathe and I will be posting more. Here are some pictures of Little Big Man J and you can see more on the flickr account.

the never ending pregnancy...17 days to go
I know that every pregnant woman probably says this, but I the last days of pregnancy seem to go so slow! I'm really looking forward to actually having the baby now, like as in right now...tomorrow, hell even the next day, but sometime soon would be great (can you hear me kiddo?) Here he is at the last sono back in early October:

We received many beautiful and thoughtful gifts. Many thanks to all that were there to share the great day!
This time of the year is always a little sad for me, yesterday would have been my mother's 69th birthday. Of course, now more than ever, I wish she were still alive to see all of this. I have picked out a special picture to put in the baby's room, it's of my grandmother, my mother and me as a baby. So that he will always have her there to watch over him. Happy birthday mom, we miss you.

Yes, that's a full head of hair, and with those cheeks there's no doubt who's baby it is!
Our baby shower was back in Ocotber, definately the bigest party we've had at our house so far! It was really great because we had family from both sides, friends from work, and dear friends, all of whom had never met before, so it was interesting to see the different parts of our life converge on this one day. A great time was had by all...here are some highlights:
